Transfer Credit

Most course work will transfer to the University of San Francisco if it is from a regionally accredited institution. There is no limit to the total credits that can be transferred, however, students must meet the academic residency requirement in order to earn their degree.

Non-college-level coursework will not transfer to USF. Once admitted, you’ll receive access to an online degree evaluation detailing how previous course work meets USF graduation requirements. The time needed to complete your degree will depend on your total number of credits and their distribution toward USF curriculum requirements.

Articulation Agreements

We have articulation agreements with over sixty California community colleges and other two-year institutions. Select a school below to view a PDF version of our agreement.

** Please Note**

These agreements specify some (but not necessarily all) of the courses that meet USF’s core curriculum requirements. Completion of all of the core courses is NOT required for admission However, at least one course in each area (underlined on the articulation agreement) and a total of 44 semester credits must be completed for Graduation.
