Select Dignity Health, Primary Care Provider for USF students, as your PCP while on campus.
HPS staff, working in collaboration with USF campus
community and utilizing the latest technology, will strive to provide students
with access to quality health care and education to strengthen students’
learning and their life long well-beings.
In the Jesuit tradition that is faith does justice, HPS staff, based on the harm reduction model, will strive to inform, educate, provide, assess, and train USF students in ten health indicators: physical activity, nutrition, tobacco use, substance abuse, responsible sexual behavior, mental health, injury and violence prevention, environmental quality, immunization, and access to health care. These ten health indicators reflect the major health concerns in the United States for college students and were selected on the basis of their ability to motivate action, the availability of data to measure progress, and their importance as public health issues.
