Adjunct Professor
Prof. Black's research and teaching examines the
intersections of classical Greco-Roman culture, philosophy and
religion, and their influence on the emergence and development of
Christianity, its institutional structure, theology, and
spirituality. He teaches courses in Greek and Roman Literature and
Culture, Classical Mythology, Greek and Roman Religion, Ancient
Philosophy, Scripture, and Religion and Culture in Late Antiquity
(Patristics).
